Summer, Don’t Go | The Hardy Family
One of my favorite things about being a photographer is how it keeps me connected to people I’ve met through out different stages of my life. Such as the Hardy family. Bart is my former boss (principal) at Lafayette High School in St Joe! They say people quit their bosses and not their jobs, but that is SO not true in my case. Bart is one of the best bosses I’ve ever had - he, along with all of my amazing coworkers, made it extremely difficult to leave LHS. It was truly a family, and I still miss it very much.
I was thrilled when Bart reached out about getting his wife a gift card for the holiday season. As moms, we are often the ones behind the camera, not in front of it. A gift card for a family photoshoot is such a personal and thoughtful gift that is sure to be cherished for many years to come. And the best part? They never expire! We ended up having to reschedule this session a few times due to illness and other life-happenings, but no worries! It ended up taking place on one of the most beautiful days we had in August - not scorching hot, with a breeze, and the sun glowing.
