The Best Gift | A Weston, MO Engagement Session

Wanna know what the best gift you could ever give a small business owner? A REFERRAL.

In the vast world of the interwebs, its hard for a little small town photographer like me to get my name out there. SEO, algorithms, key words, it’s all so confusing! I am by no means a marketing guru.

So when I get a little DING in my ibox with a new inquiry, and the form says they were “referred by a friend”, it means the absolute to me.

Taylor was referred by a past client of mine, Bree. I did Bree’s high school graduation pictures and college graduation pictures. She also referred me to her aunt, who booked me for her wedding. Sadly, when Bree reached out about her own wedding, I was already booked. But that hasn’t stopped the referrals from rolling in. And thankfully, she connected me with Taylor and her fiance Kaleb, and the rest is history. Thank you, Bree!

When meeting Taylor and Kaleb, the first thing they told me was that they were awkward in front of cameras. Ahem… LIES! I’m still not convinced that these two aren’t secretly models. They were SO natural and authentic, it was such a joy photographing them.

We went all over Weston, starting off downtown and ending up at Eventful at Locust Grove - where they are getting married this fall. Here are a few of my favorite pics from their engagement session!
