Weston Maternity Session • The Walkers

This past week Blake and Victoria made the drive up to my place in Weston, MO for a last-minute maternity shoot.

This was a special shoot for me, as Blake was one of my nephew Jay Jay’s best friends before he passed away.

Something about Blake growing up, getting married and now becoming a father, has been a special comfort to my grieving heart, because I know that these are things Jay Jay would have been accomplishing too, if he were still here. Even though that might sound sad, my comfort comes from my unwavering belief that he is still with us, and is getting to experience these milestones through the lives of his friends.

Blake, I am so very proud of you.

When it comes to choosing a wife, Blake couldn’t have picked better! Victoria is so beautiful, sweet and loving… getting to know her better during our session was such a blessing and I look forward to continuing to watch their story unfold!

Victoria tried on several maternity dresses from my client closet, and ultimately narrowed it down to three. She looking stunning in each one! Below are a few of my favorite photos from our time together, but let me tell you - it was HARD to choose.

I hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

Blake & Victoria, I know Jay Jay is with you every step of the way and proud of the life you are building together.

And I will always be cheering you on.

Marriage is hard, new parenthood is even harder. Both are sooo worth it. Each trial is temporary, but true love is eternal.
